Week One: Mapping Imagined Worlds

The town of Foxville is a small yet sophisticated town. It is located in the flat plains in the land of Scoodlers. They take great pride in their lavishly built homes and fanciful outfits. Many of the homes look to be cut from varying shades of large marble. Each house is adorned with gold details like something out of a rococo painting. The detailing is of birds and flowers wrapping around the outer rim of the homes and bleeding down the marble cracks into the ground. In the yard, perfectly trimmed bushes have numerous different flowers. Many of these bushes are roses of various sizes and colors. The many flowers give the town a sweet floral aroma. Cut grass also blends with this smell due to all of the yards staying continuously groomed into perfection. Along with the roses many animal-shaped shrubberies are placed periodically around Foxville. Some depicting fox soldiers and other historical figures. Others look to be in the shape of various birds. After entering the front of the town and passing the rows of homes you get to a large water feature in the center with a classical style marble fountain stand. Around the fountain the road loops into a circle with the military base on the right along with the hen-houses for food. The military makes up a large part of Foxville with many of it recipients locals. The army foxes are dressed in a blue shirt, yellow pants, and carry a small wooden sword with a serrated edge. If you continue around the circle you stand in front of the king's castle. It is the largest building in Foxvill with many marble walls towering high and continuous gold leafing around the outside. The yard out front is adorned with a variety of shrubberies shaped in the king's likeness. Even more, left around the circle brings you to the town's best restaurant known for their immaculate poultry dishes. Next to this is the opera house where shows are often rehearsed and performed weekly. Next to this is the dance hall where events for the town are held. The women of the town dress up in their best feather dresses when they attend these balls.
